NOW, LET'S SEE THE STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS FOR PREPARING STUFFED PEPPER SOUP:
1st Step
To remove the pink color from the ground beef, brown it over medium heat in a large soup pot or Dutch oven until it is no longer pink. While it is cooking, use a spoon or a spatula to break it up into bite-sized pieces.
2nd Step
To the saucepan, add the bell peppers, onion, and garlic that have been diced and chopped respectively. For about 5 minutes, sauté the vegetables with the ground beef until they are faintly softened.
3rd Step
Mix in the tomato sauce and chopped tomatoes, including the liquid from the diced tomatoes. Combine the flavors by mixing all of the ingredients together.
4th Step
Pour the beef broth into the stock and bring it to a simmer. After it has reached a boil, turn the heat down to a low setting and continue to let it simmer for around twenty minutes to let the flavors combine.
5th Step
Put the rice that has already been cooked into the saucepan, and then add the dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and black pepper. To ensure that all of the components are combined, stir the mixture well.
6th Step
Allow the soup to boil for a further ten minutes, during which time the rice should be allowed to soak up some of the flavors from the broth.
7th Step
Taste the soup, then make any necessary adjustments to the spices to suit your tastes. You may make it hotter by adding some red pepper flakes or a drop or two of spicy sauce. Either one will do.
8th Step
Once it reaches the desired consistency, take the pot from the heat and let it stand for a few moments before serving.
