1 small onion, finely chopped.

2 cloves garlic, minced.

1 egg, lightly beaten.

1 Tsp.Of dried oregano.

1 Tsp.Of dried basil.

Salt and pepper to taste.

4 large potatoes cut into cubes.

1 Cup.Of shredded mozzarella cheese.

1/2 Cup.Of marinara sauce.

Fresh parsley for garnish.

PREPARATION:

Step 1:

Mix the ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped onion, minced garlic, beaten egg, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and pepper together in a large mixing basin.

Step 2:

Combine all of the ingredients well until they are uniformly flavored by ensuring that they are thoroughly mixed together. And using your hands, roll the mixture into tiny meatballs with a diameter of about 1 centimeter, and then put them aside.

Step 3:

Heat a sprinkle of olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Put the meatballs in the pan and allow them to cook until they are browned on all sides. Check to make sure that they are done all the way through.

Step 4:

After the meatballs have finished cooking, take them out of the pan and place them on a dish that has been lined with paper towels so that any leftover oil may be absorbed.

Step 5:

Bring a big saucepan of water to a boil and set it aside. Once the potato cubes have reached a consistency that can be easily pierced with a fork, remove them from the boiling water, drain them, and then add them back to the saucepan.

Step 6:

Turn the temperature on the oven to 375 degrees Fahreneit (190 degrees Celsius).

Step 7:

Place the meatballs that have been cooked on top of the potatoes that have been prepared in a baking dish. Marinara sauce should be poured over the meatballs and distributed evenly before serving.

Step 8:

Spread the shredded mozzarella cheese over the top, making sure that every meatball is coated in it. Place the baking dish, which has been covered with aluminum foil, into the oven when it has been warmed.

Step 9:

Bake the cheese for about 20 minutes, or until it is melted and bubbling, whichever comes first. Take off the foil and continue roasting for another 5 minutes to give the cheese a chance to get a golden color.

Step 10:

After it has finished cooking, take the dish out of the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes, garnish with some fresh chopped parsley.

Step 11:

You have the option of serving these meatballs with potatoes and cheese as a stand-alone meal or with a salad on the side. Place a sizeable piece of the melted cheese, potatoes, and meatballs on each dish.
