1 ½ Lbs.Of steak (such as ribeye or sirloin), cut into bite-sized pieces.

4 large potatoes, peeled and cubed.

4 cloves of garlic, minced.

1 Tbsp.Of fresh rosemary, chopped.

1 Tbsp.Of fresh thyme, chopped.

1 Tbsp.Of olive oil.

Salt and black pepper to taste.

1 Cup.Of beef broth.

HERE'S HOW YOU CAN MAKE THE POTATOES AND STEAK CASSEROLE WITH GARLIC AND HERBS:

1st Step

Bring the oven up to temperature, preferably 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius). Spray or drizzle some olive oil or cooking spray onto a large baking dish.

2nd Step

Olive oil should be heated over medium heat in a big skillet. Salt and pepper the steak pieces before adding them to the pan. The steak has to be seared for around two to three minutes on each side to get a brown color. Take the steak away from the heat and put it on a plate.

3rd Step

Put the herbs, garlic, and thyme in the same pan. To bring out their flavor and aroma, sauté them for only a minute.

4th Step

Toss the cubed potatoes with the garlic and herb mixture and add them to the skillet. To get a light browning, cook the potatoes for approximately 5 minutes, tossing regularly.

5th Step

Spread the potatoes out in a single layer in the prepared baking dish. After the steak has been seared, place it on top of the potatoes.

6th Step

Add the beef stock to the steak and potatoes and stir to combine. The dish will be more juicy and flavorful thanks to the broth.

7th Step

Wrap the dish in aluminum foil and pop it in the oven after it's heated up. Put everything in the oven and set a timer for 35 to 40 minutes, depending on how well you want your potatoes and steak done.

8th Step

After baking, take the foil off and turn the oven to broil. To obtain a lovely golden crust on top, broil the dish for an additional 3 to 5 minutes.

9th Step

Take the casserole out of the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes. This will give the tastes a chance to combine.
