INGREDIENTS YOU’LL NEED:

2 Pounds.Of potatoes, peeled and sliced thinly.

1 Pound.Of cooked ham, chopped into small pieces.

1 large chopped onion.

2 Cups.Of shredded cheddar cheese. 

A 10-oz can.Of cream of mushroom soup. 

1 Cup.Of milk. 

1 Tsp.Of garlic powder. 

1 Tsp.Of dried thyme.

Salt and pepper, to taste.

Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional).

PREPARATION:

1st Step 

Combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, dried thyme, salt, and pepper in a large bowl, then add in the cream of mushroom soup.

2nd Step 

In the slow cooker, make alternating layers of sliced potatoes, diced ham, and chopped onion.

3rd Step 

After the potatoes and ham have been covered, pour the soup mixture on top.

4th Step 

Cook the potatoes, covered, on high for 4 hours, or low for 6-8 hours, or until they are soft, whichever comes first.

5th Step 

During the last ten minutes of cooking, dot the surface of the casserole with pieces of shredded cheddar cheese.

6th Step 

If you want, garnish with fresh parsley that has been chopped. Enjoy while it's still hot!
