CRANBERRY ORANGE BREAD

INGREDIENTS YOU’LL NEED:

2 Cups.Of all-purpose flour.

1 Cup.Of granulated sugar.

1 ½ Tsp.Of baking powder.

½ Tsp.Of baking soda.

½ Tsp.Of salt.

¾ Cup.Of orange juice (freshly squeezed if possible).

¼ Cup.Of unsalted butter, melted.

1 large egg.

 1 Tbsp.Of orange zest (from 1-2 oranges).

1 ½ Cups.Of fresh or frozen cranberries, coarsely chopped.

½ Cup.Of chopped walnuts or pecans (optional).

INSTRUCTIONS:

1st Step:

Prepare the oven to be preheated at 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius). Prepare a loaf pan measuring 9 by 5 inches with butter and put it aside.

2nd Step:

In a large mixing basin, use a whisk to thoroughly incorporate the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

3rd Step:

Put the orange juice, melted butter, egg, and orange zest into a separate bowl and mix well. Mix together with a whisk until all of the ingredients are combined evenly and the mixture is smooth.

4th Step:

After pouring the liquid components into the bowl containing the dry ingredients, gently combine the two using a spatula. Take care not to overmix the ingredients; a few lumps are OK.

5th Step:

After folding the chopped cranberries and chopped nuts (if using them) into the mixture until they are uniformly distributed, pour the batter into a loaf pan that has been oiled and flatten it out so that it is even.

6th Step:

Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the middle of the loaf comes out clean, after placing the loaf pan in the oven once it has been warmed.

7th Step:

After the bread has finished baking, take it out of the oven and allow it to cool for approximately ten minutes while it is still in the pan. After that, move it to a wire rack so that it may finish cooling.

8th Step:

After allowing the Cranberry Orange Bread to cool completely, cut it into thick slices so that it may be served. You may eat it as it is, toast it and spread it with butter or cream cheese, or eat it plain.

9th Step:

You may keep any leftovers in a jar that seals tightly at room temperature for up to three or four days. Additionally, the bread freezes quite well, which means that you may firmly wrap individual slices in plastic wrap and freeze them for longer-term preservation.
