INGREDIENTS YOU’LL NEED:

500 grams.Of ground beef. 

1/2 Cup.Of breadcrumbs.

1/4 Cup.Of milk.

1 egg.

1 Tbsp.Of Worcestershire sauce.

1 Tsp.Of garlic powder.

1/2 Tsp.Of onion powder.

Salt and pepper to taste.

1 Tbsp.Of olive oil.

1 onion, diced.

8 ounces mushrooms, sliced.

2 Tbsp.Of all-purpose flour.

2 Cups.Of beef broth.

1 Tbsp.Of tomato paste.

1 Tsp.Of dried thyme.

1 Tsp.Of dried rosemary.

Fresh parsley for garnish.

PREPARATION:

1st Step 

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

2nd Step 

Using your hands form the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs.

3rd Step 

Warm olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, then add the meatballs and cook them until browned on all sides, turning occasionally. Then remove them from the skillet and set aside.

4th Step 

Add the onion and mushrooms to the skillet and cook until softened, add 2 tbsp of flour over the vegetables and stir to combine. Cook for 1-2 minutes.

5th Step 

Slowly whisk in the beef broth, tomato paste, thyme, and rosemary, and continue mixing until the mixture is smooth and thickened.

6th Step 

Add the meatballs back to the skillet and spoon the gravy over them, cover the skillet and cook for approx. 25 min, until the meatballs are cooked through and the gravy has thickened.

7th Step 

Serve the Salisbury steak meatballs hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
