INGREDIENTS YOU’LL NEED:

8 Cups.Of stale bread cubes.

1 medium onion, finely chopped.

2 celery stalks, finely chopped.

2 cloves of garlic, minced.

1/2 Cup.Of unsalted butter.

1 Cup.Of vegetable or chicken broth.

2 large beaten eggs.

2 Tbsp.Of fresh parsley, chopped.

1 Tsp.Of dried sage.

1 Tsp.Of dried thyme.

1/2 Tsp.Of dried rosemary.

Salt and pepper to taste.

PREPARATION:

1st Step

Set the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2nd Step

Melt the butter in a big pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, celery, and garlic that has been crushed. The veggies should be sautéed until they are soft and clear, which usually takes between 5 and 7 minutes.

3rd Step

Mix the old bread cubes and the cooked vegetables together in a big bowl. Mix gently to spread the ingredients out evenly.

4th Step

Pour the chicken or veggie soup over the bread and stir it well. Allow the bread cubes to soak up the juice for a few minutes.

5th Step

Put the beaten eggs, parsley, sage, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper in the bowl. Mix well until all the ingredients are mixed together well. When pressed, the mixture should stay together, but it should still be a little loose.

6th Step

Take a small amount of the mixture for the stuffing and roll it into a ball about the size of a golf ball. Put the ball on the ready baking sheet. Repeat this step until you've used all of the stuffing mixture.

7th Step

Bake the stuffing balls in an oven that has already been hot for about 20 to 25 minutes, or until the outsides are golden brown and crispy.

8th Step

Once the stuffing balls are done, take them out of the oven and let them cool a bit before serving.
