PREPARATION:
1st Step
Get your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius) and oil a 9 by 13-inch (23 by 33 centimeter) baking dish.
2nd Step
In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Combine the ground beef with the onion and garlic. Make sure the steak is browned and the onion is soft before serving. Get rid of the extra fat.
3rd Step
In the same skillet, add the diced tomatoes, tomato soup, beef broth, frozen corn, frozen peas, and uncooked egg noodles. Blend together by stirring vigorously. The noodles should be cooked halfway through after 5 minutes at a simmer.
4th Step
Take the pan off the heat and toss in the butter and shredded cheddar cheese until the cheese melts and the butter is incorporated. To taste, season with salt and pepper, then spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
5th Step
Mix the topping ingredients (breadcrumbs, melted butter, and shredded cheddar cheese) in a small bowl. Blend the butter and cheese into the breadcrumbs well.
6th Step
Spread the breadcrumb mixture evenly on top of the dish for a crunchy, cheesy finish. Put the foil-covered baking dish into the hot oven. Set the oven timer for 25 min.
7th Step
To get a golden brown and crispy topping, remove the foil after 25 minutes and bake for another 10 minutes.
8th Step
Once done, remove the casserole from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving
